The United States Navy is developing new procedures for reporting sightings of unidentified flying objects.
This is according to a report in Politico, an authoritative media outlet which generally reports on political matters, as its name suggests.
Politico quotes a Navy statement which reads: “There have been a number of reports of unauthorized and / or unidentified aircraft entering various military-controlled ranges and designated air space in recent years.
“For safety and security concerns, the Navy and the [US Air Force] takes these reports very seriously and investigates each and every report.
“As part of this effort, the Navy is updating and formalizing the process by which reports of any such suspected incursions can be made to the cognizant authorities.
“A new message to the fleet that will detail the steps for reporting is in draft.”
Until now, reporting a UFO sighting would immediately categorize the person reporting it as a bit of a kook at least, or worse.
Very few people would confess to believing the reports, even when they themselves may have seen the same object at the same time.
The “conspiracy community”, of it can be called that without offending them, have unearthed a vast amount of film footage recorded by NASA and many others in which UFOs can be clearly seen.
Sometimes, two astronauts may be witnessing the same object, but when one asks the other about it, the other denies that he can see it, or that there’s anything unusual about it.
The famous sightings of the “Foo Fighters” during the Second World War is another case in point. Numerous fighter pilots reported seeing glowing orbs of light following their planes, hovering around them and engaging in maneuvers that no human-built aircraft would be capable of – to this day.
And yet, there has been no official acknowledgment of the existence of craft or beings – or whatever they are – and all such sightings have been classified as UFOs.
That’s if they’ve been given any credence at all.
The truth is in this video
One of the most famous NASA videos which UFOlogists, if they can be called that without causing offense, is the so-called “tether incident”.
In this video, a miles-long tether broke off from a multimillion-dollar satellite above Earth’s atmosphere. As it floats around in near-Earth orbit, hundreds of circular craft, creatures, or beings – whatever you want to call them – are seen swarming around it.
This video has been analyzed by hundreds if not thousands of people, with many of them making videos of their own in which they provide their detailed opinions, ultimately claiming that NASA is not being open enough about what appears to be a clear case of unexplained space phenomena.
The phrase “space phenomena” is sometimes used instead of UFOs, perhaps because the latter term is tainted by overuse and not taken seriously enough.
Three types of space phenomena
A couple of decades ago, the manager of a broadcast television station in Canada pointed all the satellite dishes he had at his disposal at NASA’s video transmissions from space.
His name is Martyn Stubbs, and his observations are the subject of a film called The Secret Nasa Transmission: the Smoking Gun.
In the film, Stubbs explains that he noticed something in the NASA footage that was too quick to see without further work on the video.
He described a technical process through which he found images of the space phenomena in the “scan fields” of the video.
Stubbs says he found that there are three space phenomena, similar to the orbs or discs that many others have reported seeing.
Perhaps now, with the updating of reporting procedures, and the possible removal of the stigma associated with UFO sightings, more video will be made available of unexplained space phenomena, or whatever they’re called.
- 36The Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy Astronomers have confirmed the solar system’s most distant known object. Appropriately named “Farfarout”, the object is not large enough to be categorized as a planet, but does orbit the sun, taking 798 Earth years to do so. With the help of the…
